IRIS communication in QPPV absence

Dear IRIS team, if I understand correctly, for example starting of new referral will be shared via IRIS portal directly to QPPV and notification email will be send to her/him. The notification email will be automatically shared also to Deputy QPPV? Or how to establish back-up process in case QPPV absence? In open cases in IRIS there is possibility to assign case to someone else, but how it is establish during sharing new referral/PASS (opening new issue by EMA)?
 

As a general rule, in IRIS communication emails are sent only to the "portal contact", also known as "submission contact". It is then the responsibility of that person to set appropriate autoforward rules for emails coming from the IRIS system, or in case of prolonged absences, to change the "portal contact" (as described in the IRIS Guide for Applicants, chapter 2.4).
